The therapy day takes place in our 15,000 sq. ft. spa like facility located in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. The treatment facility offers a calm and peaceful atmosphere where clients are able to concentrate on their individualized treatment in a relaxing and non-stressful setting. Transportation and airport pickup are always provided along with Staff supervision and assistance on a 24-hour basis.

The living environment offers spa like accommodations including guaranteed individual bedrooms, dining area, maid service, catered meals, fresh fruit and snacks, washer/dryer, wireless Internet and 73 inch TV, BluRay, Wii players and cable television in the large client lounge. Each client bedroom comes with a flat screen TV. The living quarters are located approximately 15 minutes from our beautiful, white sand beaches. Clients enjoy our beaches on the weekend, along with other outings to local sites of interest.

It is the philosophy of Alternative Treatment International to provide as calm and peaceful a living situation for each individual as possible while in treatment. We do not believe in institutional, lock down, or completely isolated environments where clients feel separated from a normal life. Although, for those who wish complete anonymity may remain on premises as all needs can be accommodated. All clients are supervised but are given the opportunity to practice and experience a more realistic lifestyle in treatment, prior to discharge and returning home. You will be provided with a stress-free living environment where you are able to relax and process the daily therapeutic activities in the comfort of a home-like atmosphere. You will have the benefit of enjoying our state of the art fitness workout room, sauna, Yoga and Holistic fitness facilities, Art Therapy, reflective meditative walks, and dining/lounge. During the evening hours, you will have the benefit of enjoying scheduled activities, fire pit, weekend barbeque grilling, outings as scheduled to a local bookstore, beach for walks and meditation. You will also be provided with time for assignments and reading, or just have the freedom to do laundry, watch television, journal, or simply reflect on the daily therapeutic activities.




"I came to ATI due to legal issues and at first I had no idea what to expect because I had never been to any treatment program before. I began very reluctant because I did not believe my situation called for such treatment. However, as I began to get more involved in the program, my eyes began to open to the fact that although it was legal matters that brought me to ATI, there was much in my everyday life that needed working on. During my time at ATI, I have become very close with both my fellow patients and all of the employees. I feel sad leaving my new family that I have formed here, however, I leave here with a completely new skills set and ways of coping with life. I feel much more confident that I can handle the twists and turns of life, and I am able to make many of these problems seem much less significant by using my new found skills for living in the moment.

Overall, it has been a great program and I would recommend it not only to anyone who has a problem that needs fixing, but also to anyone who would like to better the life they are currently living."
